One man has died and another has been left seriously injured after a crash involving a car and a road sweeper in Colchester.
The men were in a black Citreon Saxo which collided with the council road sweeper on Bromley Road at around 1.35pm yesterday (Thursday, November 8).
The man who died - and 18 year-old from the area - was a passenger in the car. The driver, who os also 18 suffered facial and other serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver and the passenger in the road sweeper were uninjured.
