RULES

1.    The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Wakehurst Place – Glow Wild’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run on Friday 13th October 2017 on Heart Sussex.

2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

Details of the Competition:

3.    To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message with ‘GLOW’ the keyword and their answer to 82122 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates.  The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.

4.    All Entrants selected to play on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation may be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, cannot continue the call for any reason or the phone line is not of a suitable quality for broadcast (at the discretion of the producer) the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.

5.    Entrants will need to text in their answer ‘A, B or C’ and the keyword when told to by the Drivetime presenter to 82122.

6.    The winner will be chosen at random from all correct answers received. The winner will be announced on air. The winner will be contacted after they have been announced and their details will be passed on to Wakehurst Place.

Eligibility:

7.    Entrants must be 18 or over.

8.    Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.

Prize:

10.  One winner will receive six tickets to attend the opening night of the Glow Wild Lantern Festival at Wakehurst on 30th November 2017, along with £50 to spend in the visitors shop and £100 to spend in the restaurant.

11.  The winner will also get the chance to turn the lights on the UK’s tallest living Christmas tree at Wakehurst at 4:15pm on 30th November 2017.

12.  The £50 to spend in our Visitor Centre Shop will be in the form of a voucher.

13.  The £100 to spend in the Stables Restaurant will be for the night of the event, 30th November 2017 only and will be in the form of a voucher.

14.  The winner's details will be passed onto Wakehurst Place who will contact them about prize redemption.

15.   The event takes place over a number of nights. IF the prize winner can’t attend the 30th November 2017 / 4.15pm light switch on event slot, they will be given tickets and the retail / catering spend for another night but they won’t be able to switch on the Christmas tree lights.

16.  Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
