Bobbi Storm was just nominated for two Grammy Awards, but that's not why she made headlines over the weekend.
On Saturday, she posted an Instagram video showing a confrontation between her and a Delta Air Lines crew member on a recent flight.
View this post on InstagramAccording to the footage, Storm was attempting to sing her new gospel song, "We Can't Forget Him," prompting the crew member to repeatedly ask that she "be quiet" and threatening to remove her from the flight. Although Storm agreed to stop at one point, she began singing after the crew member walked away.
A Delta Air Lines representative told Insider the company has been in contact with Storm, adding, "For the safety of our customers and crew, it's always important to follow crew instructions."
Storm confirmed that Delta Air Lines reached out in a follow-up video on Saturday and added that she didn't want the crew member to face repercussions for the interaction.
"I simply want us to keep in mind how to treat each other," Storm said in the video.
Since Storm posted the video, it's gained more than 21,000 likes and generated a debate about behavior on flights.

According to Storm's IMDb page, she's a Detroit native born in June 1987. At one point, she signed a production deal with Songbook Entertainment — but it's unclear if she's still affiliated with the label. Her bio also said she's worked with Makeba Riddick Woods, a songwriter and producer responsible for several popular hits like Eminem and Rihanna's 2010 single, "Love the Way You Lie."

She's also appeared on the Fox series "Star" and performed at Oprah Winfrey's Legends Ball in 2005.

Maverick City Music, a Christian singing group, was recently nominated for best gospel album and best contemporary Christian music performance/song.
Storm is a featured vocalist on Maverick City Music's latest album, "The Maverick Way Complete." She sings on the tracks "Nobody Greater" and "Firm Foundation (He's Gonna Make a Way)."
